Frequently asked questions

The questions we get asked most often. Anything else, just ask on LINE.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Usually three to four weeks, depending on your own lash growth cycle and aftercare. Natural lashes shed over time, so a refill every few weeks keeps the set looking full.

Does the application hurt?

No. Your eyes stay closed and relaxed throughout, and extensions are attached to your natural lashes rather than to the skin. Most clients fall asleep during the appointment.

Can I wear contact lenses?

Yes, but please take them out before the appointment — your eyes are closed for a long stretch and lenses can dry out. You can put them back in straight afterwards.

Can I still wear and remove makeup?

Yes. Avoid oil-based eye makeup removers and use a lash cleansing foam instead. Skip mascara and lash curlers, which shorten how long the set lasts.

Will extensions damage my natural lashes?

Not when the weight is matched correctly. We choose extension thickness based on your own lashes so they are not overloaded, and recommend a lash serum alongside.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, please book ahead. LINE, phone or email all work — LINE is fastest and we read English.

Is waxing painful, and how often should I go?

We use a fast strip-and-lift technique and match the wax type to each area, which keeps it far more comfortable than most people expect. Every four to six weeks suits most hair growth cycles, and regrowth usually becomes finer over time.

Can I take a course with no experience at all?

Yes. The main 2026 course is the Beginner Lash Business Course — one day, 10:00–18:00, covering theory and practical work including mannequin practice and a live model. Classes are private or capped at two students. Credit-card instalments are available.

Where are you, and when are you open?

No. 450, Section 2, Wuquan West Road, Nantun District, Taichung. Open Monday to Friday, 11:00–18:00, closed Saturday and Sunday.

I am not in Taichung — is there an online course?

Yes. Lash Essentials is our online course: theory, technique demonstrations and feedback on your work, at your own pace. It is a separate product from the in-person Beginner Lash Business Course; in-person students get an add-on offer. Ask on LINE for details.

Do you offer instructor training or business consulting?

Yes — lash instructor training and waxing instructor training, both led by Julia, plus one-to-one consulting for people opening or already running a beauty business.
